consistant working and time pacing... another words Time management.
This should be a very common stuff in everyone mind now and then.
I must say not all can perform in the same way... for me, i think i need a consistant working environment. I dun like last minute stuff... cos everytime,.... when you do last minute stuff... you tense to cock up here and there... slowly and do it from the very beginning.
being consist in everything you do is also a very good thing. cos you will never know wat you going to face until the moment during your job. to everyone... I can say... over confidence kills.
why do i say so.. cos when you are being given a project. never over estimate your timing and simplicity of the job. like when you say... aiya... is simple lah... i can finish in one hour... but wat do you know... the one hour thing in your mind... will turn out to be a whole nite event. cos until the moment you got a problem... you will be very tensed up... and nervous... your mind will nto work like you suppose to be.
always start up early... and you can see along the way... you can do a lot fo simple job in one go... say if you start early... you can multi-task in the job. think and do bit by bits... when you put them together... you can finish the job faster to get hold to another job.
you can never relax till the moment you finish the job... when you finish the job. buffer yourself with a few more period fo time... to re-furnish the job... make improvements...
use this extra time after you finish the job. to think of a solution to all the coming questions. you will understand wat i say when you try it. to impress is always better than to just do it.
managing time is always a difficult thing to do. always force yourself. and think of the most important things first... always "use the time to finish the important things. and not the important time to finish the things."
do it step by step... dun jump up and down... job by job... this wil make you able to think better...
If you cannot manage your time to suite your job... and not let the time to manage your job.... if you cannot do it, than that's it... you will never succeed in your job. last minute?? to 20 % or lesser people out there maybe... but not to all..

De ability to motivate othrs and be self-motivated...
The world of motivation is not so easy as one, 2, three.... cos in motivation there are so many thoeries and sayings... how to really motivate others?? but think of it... to be really living in this world, you must first learn to motivate yourself.
take for example. if you dunno how to motivate yourself in the first place... you will find yourself unable to be lasting in any project you are being given. when a big project is being passed to you... you will start up very very fast... and being motivated by the project responsibilities... and as an leader... 99% of us will be very happy... cos if you are being tasked with something important. you felt your belongings... and will force yourself into the job without hesitations.
in any project out there, sure there are many unseen problems. like the team spirits along the way. you must know how to motivate them in the different timings. if they need a rest.. you must be there to give it to them. letting everyone have a chance to breath air for awhile. "rest is for a further mileage."
and at the moment a big mistakes come out... you must know how to push the team on... and not to push any blame onto any one. cos this will break the spirit of the team... "Never kick any asses in between a project!" bare with them. once you put a blame on any one. the project passing thru % drop to less than 75%.
if you dun even know how to motivate yourself, you will not even carry on moving with the project. cos you are already worn out. but before that... it is always good to throw everything out of your mind for sometime... say take an at least half a day break from the mistakes... and take a great nap... go to the movie if you wanted... throw everything out... after the half day break when you come back... change your concept. and you will feel you can think better to solve the problem.
motivating others... this will be a very big topic... cos different person... will have different concepts or perceptions. in this world, thre are more than a few types of person. but we normally... only consider two types in the working life... Theory X and Theory Y.
Theory X- you believe that... your workers are always lazy.. and have to always Fuck them to get the job done.
Theory Y- you believe that... your workers will take on the job responsibility to work on their own timing and get the job done... in other words you trust your worker.
after learning yourself... I suggest to mix these two theories... be an X-Y cos you cannot treat everyone the same. some maybe really lazy B.O.S. which are the free loafing pack who just work for the sake of job. some are really fighting for the survival for their life whenever you throw a job to them.
give relavent fucking if you think is a correct time. but i think this kind of fucking your workers... pls leave to the very last.. say 10% of the whole.
always encourage your worker on. pinpoint out wat is their really good points. and tell them they can do even better. as you believe in them.. this is common lah. once any one out there... knows that you believe in them... they will survive further in the fightings. they will feel your belongings.. and they know they can depend on you.

trust... one of the element in life...
In the working world... everyone must learn how to not just give... but also how to gain trust from others... being truthful to everyone in the clan and communicate to each other more... you will in turn learn how to slowly gain trust from them...
and also in the mids of communicating you must pick those who you can trust and bring them closer to you... they will soon to be your force of fighters together... pick them carefully... if there is any mistakes in the picking you will regret as... some may go as far as to struck one deep wound behind your back...
by gaining their trust, you can also get many benefits... cos they give you the trust... they will give you more informations and knowledge that you require in life... and work. like for many of us... gossiping... if they dun trust you... they dun even want to tell you more about them... and wat they know... sometimes... informations like tips in exam and secret recepits... you can get just like 1,2,3...
there is always a word... "Be presence, not be present."
this is to all leaders... as you must learn to trust your worker... being presence in their mind when you are not around... and not to be present all the time around them and not trusting them on their work or job....
the company needs a leader to lead.... not to always go around and tell people wat they should do... cos this will in turn be a nuisance in their mind. like do you like it when people are always watching you on wat you are doing?? or do you like a leader who can trust you and give you the freedom to do the job your way and finish with the same result??
if you are able to control or lead a party of fighters... just by a call and trust... then you are already very successful in the job.
See if you dun trust them... you will be so busy in many things and not able to do your own part of job in time... like have to always do everything yourself... cos you are so scare to pass them the part of the job.... as you dun trust them, you will everything oso D.I.Y. then where is the time??
and if in the first place... you everyone oso dun trust... then how you expect people to trust that you can do the job correctly... as everything you also D.I.Y. then where got enough energy to fully concentrate and finish one job perfectly??
So... learn to trust others... and learn to gain their trust in return... But most important of all... you must see who to trust and who not to trust... to prevent yourself from being hurt....

treating everyone equally...
in this world... biasing is always there.... so is off no choice... even for me, i bias in my perception... and always see things in my own views.... however, i think it is better to treat everyone equally.
this will in turns bring more unity of ideas created in the team and boost the morale of the team.
here for example if you treat someone who dun really like by the looks. he will never shine in your lead. his ideas will always be kick aside, even if the idea is good enough to bring more profits. if you can treat everyone as equally as anyone in the circle, the members will eventually give and put more of themselves in the team of belongings. cos they know they had your trust in them.
their ideas will always be coming. due to their sense of belonging. and if you can sense that someone dun like you... or your idea being always throw at one corner... will you even tell your boss even if it is a good idea?? and these ideas will go to waste.
it is true that sometimes we treat many people differently as from how we saw them in the first impressions. like etc... when you see someone smoking, you will think.... air pollutions... shit of the ass... but face the fact lah... smoking maybe not been they are bad... their mind is still straight and sometimes they just need a puff to brighten up their mindset and to generate more ideas...
it is true that many smokers used smoking as a way to relief stress... and many of the leaders in big company always smoke wat...
everyone in this world is good in a way or two... only that they had a chance in expressing themselves... and if you dun let them have the chance to express.... and hack care of their idea due to your biasing... they will never grow.
even if you are not in line with the guy.... be patient and listen. as you are listening to someone you like.... sometimes... their ideas are more than you can think...

When you see a begger on the street, what will you do?? give a look of disgust... and walk away?? then why you can simply donate so much in a TV show?? give them the benefit of doubts... sometimes.. they are really have no choice and have to beg...
for you.... not to the very last... will you beg for more forgiveness... and how well you wish that the people out there...can help you like how they help others?? how you wish they can treat you equally for the amount of job you had done??
So always remember to treat everyone equally....

Guts to admit defeat and the most important... The guts to say sorry...
Being a human being, 80% of us... out there... do not have to guts to admit sorry. being able to say the word sorry is always the hardest thing on earth... and true enough. if one can really admit the wrong and say sorry to his subordinates... will earn not just a point of believe. but is a life time thing.
many e-mail story out there already told us that. Be true and face the fact, if you are wrong means you are wrong. just admit it. just for goddness sake. for once tried to say sorry. rather to feel sorry for yourself in your own state of mind.
when you wronged someone in your pack of believers.... and you just dun have the guts to apologise... or because of your high esteem... then your team sooner or later will not believe in you. to a degree of state... some may even view your high esteem as a person of too show off.
this guts of able to admit wrong is not just say.... sorry... and fXXK it... cos this wil not show your willingnes in the apologies.. try to talk more of the situation on why you had wronged the person. explain with a great heart and admit your wrongs. this is to prevent a vent of anger between your pack. and prevent the raising of hatred... because you are always one level higher... and they will be treating differently from what they treat themselves.
when you wronged one... it is always faster to spread them hatred between themselves and leaving you no timing in explaining. so if you think that you had wronged anyone in your believers. apologised in public and not in person. this will bring them closer to you then anything esle. and their respect for you will also increase in a way or two....

in many business partnership, the guts to admit a defeat is a thing one might put to the last to do. if you always think that how you going to admit your defeats... you will never succeed. however, you must at least for an instance see the moment that if you are defeated wat will you do.
this is to at least path a back alley for you to retreat if there is any un-foreseen situation that spoilt your plans.... always remember to leave a back step path for yourself and for your foes...
a great leader is one who can admit defeat and apologise to whoever they had wronged wrongly...

being patient..... key of the world...
being patient.... yes being patient in every part of your life... not just in the term of leadership...
as a fisherman... this is the first thing you must learn... in every part of life too... in love...
like be patient in your love one is the most important thing of your life... be patient and listen to those who are talking... take time in listening... let her talk... think and patiently explain...
be patient with your boss and listen to what he say till after he really finish then you patiently explain to him...
I was once a person of no patient and things dun really goes to the way that i believe will turn into... when you get a scolding... be patient. for one time for sure i know for myself I will shine and learn from my mistakes... and from why i was being scolded...
the first thing i learnt to be street smart.. is my first time in believing in my patient... I was always kena suan... kena laugh at.... but slowly and slowly... i learn patiently on how to suan and talk back in a way that others oso dunno that you had already suan them...
being always believing in yourself is oso a part of patient... if you dun believe in yourself... you dun even learn to be patient...
For a leader i Think the most important stuff is also to learn to be patient... why do i say so... let me explain.. here.
a leader be him or her to be born with the charisma... or is she or he being built... he or she is always a normal guy like every one here... he will patiently wait for the chance to strike and lead the pack of believers..
if in the first place, he always wanna to strike... with even a lot of supporters he will still failed. due to his in-patience.
For my this chapter is to say... patient. every one in this world sure is got one chance... is only whether you go and grab it... and show you are hungry for it.....
people will tense to listen more to a guy with more patient than those who shoot shoot shoot in-patiently. explain slowly to client and every one of your life... tell the turth... and you will one day show your people patient is the key to all success...
the raise and fall of bubble is also another example of in-patient short lifed business idoit. they rush to open so many bubble tea shop at one go... and for the short lifed business... they lost...
only if they are more patient and creative.... i dun see why business can fail for them... as many can still see... some of these shops around... cos they patiently chose the correct position of their shop...

Newbie to BLog....humble.....
I always tot... blogging is so bo liao... yea true now i am really bo liao to really do this blog... fUX up in these few weeks due to examination... NTU rocks?? or SUX?? I cannot say much... afterall, this is the place we need to pass thru... to get a better job... like it or not....
However, i dun think living in the world with a Degree is a must... After you really see thru life in the world.... have been out in the society since 14... now at the age of 25... 11 years liao hor... dun play play... when i was young... FUxking CB... why are those FusKing Ang mo speaking family so hao lian... ("Cos I came from a hokkien or chinese educated family..")
life being a hokkien or asian context family is so much different from those from the ang mo family... from studies... 90% of ang mo families in the early 90's are born with riches and gold in singapore... or they think they are better off with the Number one languages in the world.... and that's the reason why they are so FuXking Hao Lian...
however, life borned with those riches may not be a good sign for their children... there is always a saying... fortune of a family will not cross 3 generation. so after the early 2000 down fall... many of those "use to be rich" guys become humble...
NB CB .... then after the Jack Neo show... you go round see.... like those fUXKING CB ang Mo wanna act like they can speak the underground language like canton and hokien... if you think amg MO is so great... I can tell you... your life will not be easy when you start working... cos those really experienced workers out there... are still Hokkien and cAnton educated... without them... you think got how Singapore are now??
so wat if you are very educated... so wat if you are rich and famous... FuXking CB... when there is a charity show... so many richie show off with donation... however, are they so kind hearted??

money pushes more money is always right in this world of greed... when you are rich... is a common share of others to see you up as a friend... i mean is true to everyone... yea rite... you CB... you can say you are not that CB... But KNN.... see deep in you lah... if you really are those... thenyou are not suppose to be here liao... look... Behind you... a bright white light... yea that staircase... walk up... and knock on the KNN CB door of god...
when you are rich... true is easier to find help.... but when you are poor... you dun really think so... So face the fact... the only riches that will follow us always is our knowledge of our life, our Love, our knowledge of how to be successful in life... knowledge of wat to do in the future... knowledge from our own field of studies....
So everyone... dun cry liao... exam stressed... still need to study... hao lian.... can after you got distinction... but dun always hao lian.... if you wanna hao lian.... must also hao lian with a Style.... a style when you hao lian... and People still not to lan... then you are on the right path to the leadership.... wait for my next publish...

I realised I had given a dream that will never gonna be true... that simple day is a day that i will never forget... i wish to use here to mark the red markings of my heart...
I still remember you. Grandpa... my talking partner my memtor of life... A person that taught me leadership and works of life...
his famous words... "work from the lowest rank up... you will know life... the hardship, that failure is nothing.. is the method you climb and the way you face the facts..."
these will qoute my little blog of my own world of leadership...
I always wanted to show him how a leader i will be... wanted him to be the guest of honour in my convocation... always wanted him to see his grandson with the square hat... but I will never bring this dream to life.. I regreted... He will always wanted me to get married and made him a great grand father...
He said... " if you are lucky... you will be a father of 3 now..." this was when i was 18...
If life and death is just one line away... then why cannot i be in the middle of that line and be the transist... so i can always go over to tok to him...
